Insights into Investment and Income Tax
In this chapter, Roy teaches how to reduce income tax. He emphasizes how an investor is doom to failure if he or she don't have discipline and a sharp eye for failure. Without discipline you are walking straight to your own ending. Finally, he concludes that is important to read some books and become relay familiar with common mistakes while doing taxes.
An important quote of this chapter is "With out discipline you are a sheep heading toward slaughter." (Chilton,95). This quote shows the importance of being financially disciplined to be able to be a successful investor. The quote is important because it tells us how necessary is to always be disciplined with your finances.
This chapter relates with the main idea of the book because it shows us the importance of discipline for having a successful life. My favorite thing about this chapter is the way in which is expressed the importance of our behaviors and their impact in our wealth.

Chapter one
The Financial Literate
What happens in this chapter is that the author starts describing his live and the thing he enjoys. Then he speaks about his family. As his wife and him are expecting a baby, he enfatizases his need to learn how to manage money. In this chapter, the author shows his need to learn how to become a literate financial character.
"I need to become a literate financial individual"( Chilton, 16)
I liked this quote because it shows the need we all have to learn how to manege our economy to be able to maintain and have good living standards.
I believe this chapter relates with the main idea of the book because it shows how we all need to learn how to manege our finances and it anticipate to us that we will learn how to do it and fast. My favourite element of this chapter was the fact that what happen was related with the personal life of the author which makes it easier to relate with.

The Wealthy Barber An Introduction To The Book
The author of the book, The Wealthy Barber is David Chilton. David Chilton is an investor, author and television personality who appeared in the famous Canadian show, Dragons Den. Because of that show, I know who David Chilton is and I felt interested in reading his famous book, The Wealthy Barber.
The Genre of the book is personal Finance. Because of that, anyone who is having financial problems or that simply wants to improve his or her financial methods should be interested in this book. I will personally recommend this book to people who want to become wealthier and that are particularly looking for financial success in their lives. I don't typically read these kind of books because I am more interested in historical or fictional novels. Not even when I try to read something about economy I would read this type of books because I am more interested in the macro perception or study of economy. Yet, this book is particularly interesting for me as I recognize the author and the topic will be useful for me as I become economically independent from my family.
As expressed in the title of this entry, the title of the book is The Wealthy Barber. The reason why this name was chosen is that in the book, financial advice are given to and gave by a barber called Roy. I think the title is an interesting title as a barber is a figure that we can percibe with humility and thus, relate to; so what the title means is everyone can be wealthy.
As you can see, the cover of the book shows David Chilton with the captions: Everyone's Commonsense Guide to Becoming Financially Independent. I believe the cover of the book is welcoming and as David Chilton is such a popular figure, is generally attractive for the readers.
